Tehrathum Fire Relief Fundraising Program

Dear Friends,

We all are aware of series of bad news about Nepal since last couple of years, the recent incident sat a record in Nepalese history. A massive fire wiped out Myanglung Bazaar, a Headquarter of Tehrathum District lies in far eastern region. At least 300 family lost their generations of hard work, literally everything they had in their life. Total lost recorded 3 billion Nepalese Rupees which is approx. 39 millions US Dollars.

                        

Today people have no place to sleep and no food to eat, spend their day going through rubbles hoping to find their belonging but everyday come up with disappointing results. People have no hope and strength to rebuild their home and business so they are in the verge of leaving town heading for unknown destination with dark future ahead.

                       

As I was born and raised in Tehrathum, my family lost 3 business establishments and 5 houses, I have visited the area and spent 4 days helping people, its heartbreaking when you see kids are sleeping in ground without blanket in cold winter and parents have no answer to their mounting questions. Today beautiful Tehrathum town need help and people in Tehrathum will be better off if they re-start their lives right there than moving to unknown destination.

In order to that happen someone has to show them a true hope and light end of the tunnel. I have started a Tehrathum Fire Relief Fundraising Campaign and urge your support on it so we can make these kids smile again.
